The first PPV of the year each time around in STW. Its a gaurantee to start the season off big. You are promised to see some of the biggest matches STW has to offer when Wrestlefest comes around as the feuds are just starting to get nasty, and there's aways a chance to see some RWO trash come stickin their noses in our business. This event however, is best noted for the its annual battle royal to finish the night off, where the winner and sole survivor of the war in the ring claims the the number one contendership and therefore a trip to the main event of the next PPV, Countdown to Extinction. There is no doubt that this is the event of the year in STW. Countdown is there to showcase the biggest matches of the year, and it never dissappoints. Every star in the back focuses on this event. It can turn around or launch careers, or mean the beggining of the end for others, only one thing is for sure, everyone comes ready to kick some ass that night, that's why countdown equals ratings. The final event of the year in STW. Its the last chance to get even, get revenge, or set things right. Being the last event of the year means the wrestlers have nothing to lose.
